Buy a Zune

So who bought one of those Zune media players by Microsoft? I see that a few 2.0 sites have “spontaneously” developed (like Zune.net) to support users but, other than that, there isn’t much buzz or interest in the brand. I’m sure Microsoft had visions of Zune a “brand-as-type” product (eg an “iPod” is used to describe any media player, “Nilla Wafer” is used to describe any cookie of the sort, etc.) but it just hasn’t worked out… has it? Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Did I mention that, if you do choose to buy a Zune, you can get a good deal? Honestly, I’m not married to the Apple brand - so a media player is a media player. With dropping prices, the quality & storage GB is a good deal for the dollar.
